“THE RESILIENT”

In this series, I use Frida Kahlo to represent the trait of resilience. Resilience defined much of Kahlo’s life and art, as she transformed personal suffering into powerful self expression. Despite enduring physical pain and emotional hardship, her strength in facing adversity became truly iconic.

Resilience is an essential quality shared by both humans and animals, enabling them to recover from challenges and setbacks. It drives individuals to endure hardship, adapt, and emerge stronger. In both, resilience fosters survival, personal growth, and the ability to thrive despite life’s difficulties.
